Adoption Process
Our adoption process is dynamic and is focused solely on meeting the needs of the dogs in our care and placing them with the best adopters possible. This may mean multiple meet and greets with humans and/or other dogs, home visit, a short trial period at the new home, special requirements, etc. depending on the dog's needs.

We do NOT operate on a first-come first-serve basis, which means we match adopters based on the needs and temperament of the dog, and not who submitted their application first. Please understand that it is not guaranteed that you will be able to adopt a specific dog you’re interested in.

If for any reason during your dog’s life you are unable to keep your dog, you must return your dog to Jezzie’s Place Rescue.
