About the Founder
My name is Haley Tucker and I share my life with my husband Michael, our two rescue dogs (Maple and Opie), two ferrets (Binx and Luna), and a blue-tongued skink (Randy).
Since I can remember, I've always had a passion for caring for animals, and have always wanted to work with and save animals. When it was time to find a new job in high school, I didn't want just ANY job - I wanted a job that meant something to me, and I landed at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I learned more about what career path I wanted to take.
Over the years, I've attended educational training sessions and workshops, and I have fostered and volunteered with multiple dog rescues in New England. With my own dogs, I have done basic skills training, agility training and competitions, and fun events like Green Mountain Iron Dog. I hope to become a certified behavior consultant in the future; I love learning about the ethology and genetics of dogs. My big dream is to have a much larger property with a dog rescue and animal sanctuary, as well as expanded services like agility, training, and canine PT/rehab.
​I'm a sucker for pitties and bullies, blocky-headed labs, hounds, giant breeds, and working dogs. I also have a soft spot for fearful and timid dogs.
