About the Owner

My name is Haley Tucker, and I live next door to the business with my partner Michael. We have three rescue dogs (Phoebe, Chester, and Maple), three pet dumbo rats (Fiasco, Arthur, and Alfredo), and a blue-tongued skink (Randy). We love animals!
Since I can remember, I've always had a passion for caring for animals, and have always wanted to work with and save animals. When it was time to find a new job in high school, I didn't want just ANY job - I wanted a job that meant something to me, and I landed at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I learned more about what career path I wanted to take.
Over the years, I've attended educational training sessions and workshops, and I have fostered and volunteered with multiple dog rescues in New England. With my own dogs, I have done basic skills training, agility training and competitions, and fun events like Green Mountain Iron Dog. I hope to become a certified behavior consultant in the future; I love learning about the psychology of dogs. My big dream is to have a much larger property with a dog rescue and animal sanctuary, as well as expanded services like agility, training, and canine PT/rehab.
I consider myself a self-proclaimed pittie expert, but am also a sucker for blocky-headed labs, hounds, giant breeds, and working dogs. I also have a soft spot for fearful and timid dogs.
You can read more about me on my blog post, How I Got Here.
